This position is for the world's largest software company, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.

The name of the group is Security Engineering and Communications Department in Microsoft’s Security Business and Technology Unit. It includes some widely recognized groups such as Secure Windows Initiative (SWI), Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC), Security Development Lifecycle (SDL), etc. Our department’s mission is making sure product groups across Microsoft ship secure products and external security issues are dealt with properly.

We need a highly skilled developer to maintain and add new features to a business critical Web application, built in C# using ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. The candidate should have industry experience building production N-Tier (ASP.NET/C#/SQL based) systems and be able to demonstrate it (showing online examples of past work would help here). Strong C# coding, UI design and SQL skills are required.

A good candidate should have experience designing and developing a well abstracted data access and business object layer for improved extensibility and maintenance. Experience/skills related to building data driven applications, SharePoint, and web services are a plus.
