Position Summary:

The Coordinator reviews the work performed and billed to JetBlue Airways during heavy maintenance visits and files the appropriate warranty claims.

Essential Functions:

-Reviews invoices to check fees charged on repairs and researches discrepancies (40%)
-Files warranty claims in an effort to reclaim monies spent on aircraft repairs (25%)
-Administers credits in several accounts to offset repair expenses (10%)
-Visits maintenance, repair, and overhaul providers and performs audits of business partners costs (5%)
- Assists in the review of the heavy maintenance repair agreements (10%)
-Prepares reports for leadership to track costs, cost avoidances, and cost savings (10%)

Supervision Received:

-Plans and carries out work assignments and handles problems in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices in the occupation. Consults with Crewleader on unique situations which do not have clear precedents

Supervisory Duties:

- No supervisory responsibility

- Proficient with Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexibility, agility and change management skills
- Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Good typing skills
- Working knowledge of warranty administration preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of airline maintenance programs preferred but not required
- Purchasing background preferred but not required
- Strong financial background preferred but not required

- Computer and other office equipment

Work Environment:

-Normal office environment with occasional travel to the various warehouses where aircraft noise and inclement weather may be encountered.

Physical Effort:

-Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently. (Sedentary)

Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
-AssociateÁ’s Degree preferred but not required
-Two (2) years of working in an aircraft maintenance or materials environment
-Regular attendance and punctuality
- Organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion
- Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
- Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
-Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
