Primary Function
Planning/master scheduling
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze, produce and distribute daily, weekly and monthly schedules to manufacturing. Attend all meetings related to planning, such as MRB, CCB, and R&D. Attend forecast meeting, prepare and load MPS in the system.
Analyze the MRP and execute accordingly, preparing work orders, follow up on shortages to ensure availability of components. Must have a strong knowledge of the bill of material.
Must be self-motivated, requires no supervision and able to assist in cross functional meeting; exhibit the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and recommend corrective actions. Possess good interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively present information to peers and co-workers.
Follow up on purchase orders, and be fully involved in the engineering and qualification phases to ensure completion on timely matter.
Must be able to take the role of leader ship and conduct meetings if necessary.
Position requires good written and oral communication skills. Ability to build strong relation ships. Able to work with mathematical concepts, apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.
Lead cross functional meetings regarding attainment of production schedules.
Perform ad hoc analysis and generate reports in response to questions regarding production or inventory status.
Consistently leverages fresh perspectives and "out-of-the-box" thinking to greatly enhance business results; actively promotes new ways of looking at problems, processes and solutions.

Must have 5-10 years experience in planning/ master scheduling and inventory control. College Degree or Higher is preferred. APICS certification or courses in planning preferred. Extensive experience in Microsoft tools.
