This role is for a Manager overseeing the Canada Card Acquisitions channel portfolio and marketing budget.
Responsibilities
Own the Canada business imperative to diversify our acquisitions channels.
Lead our efforts to develop integrated marketing campaigns across direct mail, telemarketing, multimedia, physical channels, and internet advertising
Have accountability for the Canada Card Acquisitions marketing plan and budget ($55+MM in 2008)
Manage a direct team of two analysts.
Coordinate activities and planning with the rest of the Channels organization.
Be a customer for x-functional projects impacting marketing channels.
Collaborate with various internal departments and external vendors to develop and execute strategic intent.
Present plans and results to senior management.
Share learnings with the US and UK businesses.
Experience:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field from a top academic institution.
3-5 years of Capital One or industry experience.
Quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude for strategic project execution.
Strong conceptual and detail oriented abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated accountability with excellent collaborative, communication, and leadership skills to work effectively across organizations and manage up through all levels to influence decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced with Capital One analytics.
Proficiency in SAS and SQL.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader, a keen problem solver and will excel in strategic "white space."
