The successful candidate will partner with various departments to understand their business goals and create appropriate outsourcing/vendor solutions to meet those needs and drive value for Capital One.

Responsibilities:

The Relationship Manager role entails working with cross functional teams within Capital One and with our external partners. The successful candidate will be one who can effectively tailor communication to a wide range of audiences, independently structure and solve analytical problems and autonomously manage a number of projects simultaneously.

Manage sourcing activities by partnering with Business Stakeholders, Corporate Procurement and vendors
Be the primary point of contact with the vendor for managing day-to-day activities
Manage vendor performance by monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, overseeing contract adherence and vendor compliance with Capital One policies
Develop and implement supplier management strategies in alignment with business needs to drive innovation, performance improvement, and cost savings


There are a number of Relationship Manager positions open. Hiring departments include: Risk Operations, Marketing Operations and Supply Chain Management

Experience:
Required Qualifications:

Three to five (3-5) years professional experience in supplier management role
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Strong negotiation skills
Process improvement skills
Organisational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
University degree in related field


Preferred Qualifications:

University degree in Business Administration or Marketing
Previous Financial Industry experience
Supplier Management, or Supply Chain Management training or expertise
Bilingual (French/English)


Some travel required.
